Richard Keys has claimed that Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, held an early press conference on Friday, because he wants to irritate people.
The former SkySports anchor insists that it is too late for the Portuguese to save his job at Old Trafford.
Mourinho held his press conference around 8am on Friday morning, an unusually early time in which to speak to the media.
Press conferences are usually held in the afternoon, so that enough reporters can make it and ask questions ahead of weekend fixtures in the Premier League.
Keys told beINSPORTS, “He did it with a view to irritating people.”
“I can’t imagine he impressed too many people by calling an 8am press conference. I think it’s too late [for him to save his job].”
